Ennis - April 29, 2006

After arriving in Shannon, we stay a night in a local B&B before heading for Ballyvaughan and the Burren. Little did we know drunk Italians and rabid door bell ringers would extend the jet lag...

Ted's first shot of Ireland. "Wow, that's a narrow street!" he said.

Ennis to Ballyvaughan - April 30, 2006

We left Ennis and headed for Ballyvaughan in the Burren. Along the way we stopped at the shore in Lahinch, and found a GREAT t-shirt shop.

You do NOT want to drive 100 km/h on Irish roads (even if it IS the speed limit)

The next day, we climbed this mountain...

Ballyvaughan - May 1, 2006

On our first full day in Ballyvaughan we went on a walking tour led by Shane, a very wise yet cheeky man.

Doolin - May 2, 2006

From the rockiness of the Burren, we headed for the shores--and the music--or Doolin.

Ballyvaughan's in the fog... somewhere (and check out the road!)

Kenmare - May 4, 2006

After a really long drive, we didn't have too much energy to snap photos.

While visiting a stone circle, we saw a rainbow... can you see it?

The Beara Circle - May 5, 2006

The owner of the B&B where we were staying suggested we head for the Beara Circle. Although it was a tough drive, it was also quite beautiful.
